[jira] Commented: (MJAVADOC-73) provide javadoc warnings
[ http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MJAVADOC-73?page=comments#action_65731 ]
Felipe Leme commented on MJAVADOC-73:
-------------------------------------
Maven 1 had a plugin that generate a report with such warnings - it would be nice to have that feature on M2 as well (more than that, the plugin could even fail the build according to the warnings threshold).

> The Maven javadoc plugin does not provide the warnings given by the javadoc command. For convenience, it would be nice to save the output of the javadoc command execution to a file for later examination. A patch for writing a file "warnings.txt" is attached.
