wishlist... mod_status

It would be rad if mod_status could give "load averages", 1, 5, and 15
minute samples of the load. Right now on servers that are up for a long
time the r/s and bytes/s numbers are quite useless. Any weighting
function that makes sense is fine for me, it requires tweaks to the
core... the parent would be the best place to maintain these things.

Specifically, I'd like to see recent loads for:

- r/s
- B/s
- #requests being processed
- #idle children

I keep mentioning my graph stuff http://www.telescope.org/graph

Well I finally got around to rewriting it all nicely for Apache 1.3 using
shared memory and so on and no reliance on external programs or cron!.
Mod_status can then get historical load/bps and similar stats. An
optional accompanying module mod_statusgraph graphs it all (if linked
against gd).

The status on it at the moment is that it needs to be based on a nice
abstracted shared memory API to save lots of the repeated code and it
doesn't quite work on NT yet. Since we are in a "feature freeze" I've been
reluctant to submit any of it.
