How to add entries in the Header using Apache SOAP

Hi!
Does anybody know what is the way to add items in a Header object, as it
seems that all the entries in the Header are expected to be an instance of
Element (DOM). Is there a way to add a Java Bean for example and then have
this serialized in an Element object upon sending the message to the web
service?
    Thanks!

            Liv
