Lei (Eddy) Xu commented on HADOOP-13650:
----------------------------------------

Thanks for the great suggestions, [~aw], [~stevel@apache.org]. I am working on addressing them.

I am trying to write a {{hadoop-s3a.sh}} follow the example of {{hadoop-tools/hadoop-distcp/src/main/shellprofile.d/hadoop-distcp.sh}}. Would you mind to give me advice how to generate {{libexec/tools/hadoop-distcp.sh}}?

Thanks.

> Similar systems like EMRFS has the CLI tools to manipulate the metadata store, i.e., create or delete metadata store, or {{import}}, {{sync}} the file metadata between metadata store and S3.
> S3Guard should offer similar functionality.
