Nearly ready to release 3.0 final?

Hi All

There haven't been many patches recently. Does that mean people think
we're ready to release 3.0 Final?

(I'll work with a lazy consensus, so if no-one says they have patches
they're planning to put in for 3.0 final by mid next week, I'll start the
vote then)
