New security feature in Apache 2.0?
I understand there is (will be?) a new feature in 2.0 that allows server
processes to run as specified users. Can someone reply to this post with
more info on this feature and a possible ETA if it is not yet available?
Thanks,
-Dave

Checkout the Perchild MPM,
http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/perchild.html
Note that it usually lags a little bit behind from other MPM modules and it
may or may not work/compile for you.

The feature has worked in the past, but it was broken a long time ago. There
have been a lot of questions about it recently, and it should be working again
within about 1 month. For documentation about it, look at the perchild MPM.
