sys/config should have a 'save' function exposed by the config handlers.

Config egg would then call this when it deems that configuration should be persisted. As it's arguments the save routine should take at least function pointer which should be used to save individual values.
This would then be directed either to a file or flash var subsystem (or on console, when displaying current config).
