I found that Solr's Analysis utility screen, powered by /field/analysis (FieldAnalysisRequestHandler subclassing AnalysisRequestHandlerBase) gave me exceptions for two reasons, both having to do with AnalysisRequestHandlerBase.ListBasedTokenStream:
