Bug_? " Lock request failed: 405 Method Not Allowed"

By the way, I use subversion on port 90.

Maybe this is the reason.

Is this a bug?

Because a server (different machine) works with same configuration but

It is on port 80.

Any idea for this problem?

Thank you

Cagatay

Subject: Lock request failed: 405 Method Not Allowed

Hi,

I upgraded Subversion server to 1.2.3 and updated TortoiseSVN too in server
side.

I installed new server but I can not lock any fail still.

(I restarted the server before locking and check out something from
repository )

Whats the wrong?

It gives this error:" Lock request failed: 405 Method Not Allowed."

How can I correct this error?

Do I need a new repository? (I actually created new but again had same
problem)

Thank you,

Actually, when I set up Subversion (1.1), it did not permit locking normally.

I just set up new version of Subversion and again I could not lock any file.

But; in different machine (no prior Subversion installation, with new Subversion) it permits locking.

Is it a registry problem?

Thank you
Cagatay

Do you have a proxy server running? That may be the reason why it works on port
80 and not on port 90.

It might be that your proxy server does not accept/support the WebDAV requests.

Lieven.
