'java Apache SOAP client' talking to 'perl SOAP::Lite server' pro
blem
I had a question regarding a client side fault I received while
trying to get my SOAP client (written in Java using Apache-SOAP Version 2.1)
to understand the response of my SOAP server (apache webserver running
SOAP::Lite 0.46). I don't have any problems when my server just returns
somthing simple, like a string, but whenever I try to return something more
complicated (in this case an array of hashes) I seem to run into problems
where my java client can't understand the response.
Anyway, when I invoke the call (call.invoke()) I get the follwing fault:
FaultCode: SOAP-ENV:Client
FaultMessage: The value of the
'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/:arrayType' attribute must be
namespace-qualified.
I'm using the TcpTunnelGui to check on what is being sent back and forth.
Below is my server's response which doesn't seem to be understood by the
client.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><SOAP-ENV:Envelope
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema-instance"

</s-gensym20>
</SOAP-ENC:Array>
</namesp4:GetDirectoryListingResponse>
</SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
Is it possible to get my java client to understand this reponse?
Does anyone have a hint on how to do that? Thanks in advance.
