I'm not convinced: we have to release apache-source-release-assembly-descriptor before being able to use it in ASF parent
I prefer largely taking time to make an ASF parent release (with other updates, like plugin versions) than adding a new property and expecting users to change the property version

I'd tend to close this one as "Won't fix"
