Yep...RH 8 ships with .40. Upgrade Apache to .43 or .44 (wise move anyway
because of security fixes) or roll your own mod_jk.so from the source to get
rid of that error message.

What version of Apache are you using? Generally, you have to match the
mod_jk version to Apache. Apache 2.0.40 is not compatible with mod_jk
2.0.42/43.
