TSMimeHdrFieldAppend error in debug mode

Hi. everyone.

At first i installed ats 3.2.0 with --enable-debug option.

When i test TSMimeHdrFieldAppend() i met "FATAL: InkAPI.cc:2767: failed
assert `field_handle->field_ptr->m_ptr_name`"

But the function was ok when i re-installed ats 3.2.0 without
--enable-debug.

is it a bug?

Or is there any restraint in using API in debug mode?

*usually* - though not always, when you get a stacktrace in debug mode, but not in normal mode, it's a bug in *your* plugin's code 
We would need more context to know for sure, though.
