[jira] Created: (QPID-1940) QMF Feature Request - Structured exceptions for method failure

QMF Feature Request - Structured exceptions for method failure
--------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: QPID-1940
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-1940
             Project: Qpid
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Qpid Managment Framework
            Reporter: Ted Ross
            Assignee: Ted Ross
            Priority: Minor

Method calls currently return a status code and a single string for status text. This is a request to change the mechanism such that errors are reported using a structured exception record. The default exception can still be a single string but a developer may define an exception structure that allows arbitrarily complex data to be sent in case of a failure.
