Soap performance botheration

Hi All,
This is majith here.I'm very much proud to be part of
soapdev group.Personally I tried Apache SOAP implementation
as an experiment in existing RPC module and it works fine. But the thing is
that performance is too slow and I'm wondering ,is there any way to fine
tune the soap rpc performance in reality?
Please kindly get back to me.
		Majith

There's lots of perf tuning that's possible .. the current codebase
is a "working" codebase, hardly one that has been performance
tuned. I'd say we're still working on getting the functionality
complete and once that's done we should tune it quite a bit. Also,
the 3.0 work will benefit from this "dry run" as it can take into
account performance issues from this version.

If anyone has done any measurements to see where the bottlenecks
are etc. I'd be very interested in seeing it.

Bye,

Sanjiva.
