[jira] [Created] (INFRA-4441) Enable svnpubsub for Mahout /
mahout.apache.org
Enable svnpubsub for Mahout / mahout.apache.org
-----------------------------------------------
Key: INFRA-4441
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4441
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Task
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: SvnPubSub
Reporter: Sean Owen
Priority: Minor
Hello, I'm trying to make sure that the Mahout web site works with the svnpubsub system. Our site is in Subversion, under https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/mahout/site/new_website . I've actually already made /www/mahout.apache.org a check-out of this location, though I believe infra still has to bless this or flip a switch to make it work. I'm just requesting that magic to happen. Thanks!

Yes that is fine as is. It is a little historical but how everyone is accustomed to it now and is little inconvenience.

<danielsh> I understood that. But do you want your committers to have to 'cd new_website' when editing the site sources? Infra doesn't care, but if you want to rename the dir do it now please.

<danielsh> Done. Note to infra: this used the new script. aurora may not have picked up the 'svn up's due to svn.eu being behind at the time.

<danielsh> are you sure you want to use "new_website" as part of the URL to your site? doesn't make a difference to us (except that we'd rather not have to change the URL svnpubsub watches)

Oh no, definitely not. Rather the contents of the directory new_website/ should be the mahout.apache.org website root. I suppose I meant https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/mahout/site/new_website/*
