YES, Greg: if Eric would just sort it out, that would be much more
useful than telling us there's a problem...

YES, Eric: Greg's got to be kidding if he expects you to fix the
problems that someone else created...

Aren't you BOTH RIGHT?  Sounds to me like business as usual.

We all want each other's help to build the parts we're not so familiar
with or not so interested in, and need each other's help to learn the
things we don't know and do the things we can't do.  It's OUR code, OUR
project, OUR reliability or lack thereof.  We build it together.  You're
both helping, both on the same team.

It's good to remind ouselves of our shortfalls, so we can all try to
make improvements when we have a chance, or at least not make it worse
when we're making changes in that area.  Some of us have little
awareness of issues such as this one.  Reminding ourselves need not be
"harping".

Subversion development is far from perfect, but it is still effective
and FUN, most days.  Let's keep it that way!
