Tomcat uses 90% of CPU

Summary: Tomcat uses 90% of CPU
           Product: Tomcat 3
           Version: 3.3.1 Final
          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Blocker
          Priority: Other
         Component: Unknown
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: rajeshb@sapient.com

- We have got solaris 8 with 4 CPUs and 8Gb RAM.

- One instance of tomcat 3.3.1 is installed with JDK 1.3.1_05. We use apache
1.3.27 as the web server.

- After 20 minutes, even when there is not much load, tomcat utilizes 90% of
the CPU for no reason.

- There is no i/o wait. Restarting tomcat helps. But after 20 minutes, we face
the same problem.

- Tomcat logs do not show anything wrong.
