Troubleshooting ambari-cassandra-service UI bug

Hi,

I'm running Ambari Server 2.2.1.0 to install the HDP 2.4 platform.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem with a 3rd party Ambari service. I
installed Symantec's Cassandra Ambari plugin. It installs, configures, and
runs the C* ring OK, but I see inconsistent information in the UI.

I've described the problem in a github issue here:

https://github.com/Symantec/ambari-cassandra-service/issues/4

The service_check.py appears to be executed, yet the ui shows that none of
the "Cluster Nodes" are running and I red alert-like icon beside the C*
service. For each host I have C* installed on it shows the service in a
stopped state, but it's actually running.

However the Ambari alerts are working fine, for when I manually shutdown C*
hosts in my ring a Critical Ambari alert will be generated.

In the GH issue I did not that I saw ERROR's in my ambari-server.log, but
I've been unable to recreate the logging scenario and it may have been
related to something else.

Can someone assist me with troubleshooting this further?

Regards,
Sean
