The Image of the crash.
I can open Open office using the OpenOffice.org icon or any of the Seperate
Open Office icons and it will crash after being open for 31 seconds. No matter
if I open the writer or calc or any of them. I have completely uninstalled and
deleted all files and then reinstalled using the folder that has the
installation. It continues to do this. I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

Could you try deleting your OpenOffice user profile directory per these
instructions:
http://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12426
(These are not in the program directory, so you would probably have missed them
during your uninstall attempt)

Try the same approach, deleting or renaming your OpenOffice profile directory
per these instructions:

I am having the same exact problem and it will not let me uninstall Open
Office. It tells me that it is a on a network resource that is unavailable and
I don't know what that means. Can you help me, Rob? It also tells me that the
installation resource is unavailable. I am using Open Office vers. 3.2

I followed the directions and renamed the user profile, now Open Office won't
even open up. I get to the Welcome screen where it asks for my name and when I
click finish, nothing happens. I went back and changed the user profile back
to the original and I get the same thing. Can you tell me how to uninstall?

It did crash once after removing the Profile. Still after a little more time
and removing everything including the profile again it has been working. It
has been working since around the 22'th of January without a crash. I also
work in QA. Any way so far its good. If I crashes again I will update on this
but so far since around the 22'nd of January it has not crashed.

I tried an older version not the 3.41. Instead I tried the one right before it.
It still crashed. It has to be having some conflict with a specific program I
have. If it uses Python at all, I use Blender which is programmed in Python.
There is another product I used just recently called makehuman that also uses
python. Those may be causing it. If not then not sure what.

OpenOffice installs like other Windows programs. You go to the Control Panel
and click the Uninstall applet, and pick OpenOffice from the list.
If you still run into difficulties, I'd recommend posting to our Community
Support Forums at http://forum.openoffice.org. The Bugzilla issue tracker is
not really suitable for one-on-one technical support, where a timely response
is desired.

I did what you asked so far it seems to be working again. I opened it left it
open typed and it never crashed. If that changes I will let you know but so
far it is working fine.

Is it back to crashing 30 seconds after opening, like you originally reported?
Or is the pattern different after deleting the profile?
Also, do you have any OpenOffice extensions installed?

Sorry, I guess I'm tech savvy enough to follow the tutorial to change the path.
I have opened Explorer and clicked on Open Office, but I cannot find the path.
