TOMCAT3.0 + APACHE problem

I installed Apache and Tomcat3.0 on solaris 2.6 box.  Then follow the
HOWTO
to run Tomcat3.0+Apache.  I got error in starting APACHE:
Syntan error on line 18 of tomcat.conf
ApJServDefaultProtocol: can not find protocol 'ajpv12'
apache not started

If I change the apjv12 tp apjv11, Apache server can be started.
What's the problem?
