DTD Caching


Hi all,

What is the state of DTD caching in Xerces-J?  I noticed it is on the
list of things to do in the 1.3.1 "STATUS" file.  Is it being worked
on actively?

For certain kinds of apps (e.g., a server app that parses lots of XML
messages with the same large DTD) this could be a really huge
performance gain.
