IOP 4.2 to Ambari 2.5.2 build 214. It appears that ams-hbase-env template doesn't get generated. In this file, we define HBASE_MANAGES_ZK=false. Hence, IOP AMS utilize ZooKeeper service, which has Kerberos enabled. In HDP, it utilizes embedded ZooKeeper from AMS HBase. There is no way to enable Kerberos for embedded ZooKeeper, hence HDP ams hbase is less secure.
