[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-2919) YARN 'Cluster Memory' and 'Containers' graphs should use /root queue

Srimanth Gunturi created AMBARI-2919:
----------------------------------------

             Summary: YARN 'Cluster Memory' and 'Containers' graphs should use /root queue
                 Key: AMBARI-2919
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-2919
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: client
    Affects Versions: 1.4.0
            Reporter: Srimanth Gunturi
            Assignee: Srimanth Gunturi
             Fix For: 1.4.0

YARN's 'Cluster Memory' and 'Containers' graphs currently make API calls:
{noformat}
fields=metrics/yarn/Queue/AllocatedContainers[1376513942,1376517542,15],metrics/yarn/Queue/ReservedContainers[1376513942,1376517542,15],metrics/yarn/Queue/PendingContainers[1376513942,1376517542,15]
{noformat}
{noformat}
fields=metrics/yarn/Queue/AvailableMB[1376513942,1376517542,15],metrics/yarn/Queue/PendingMB[1376513942,1376517542,15],metrics/yarn/Queue/AllocatedMB[1376513942,1376517542,15]
{noformat}

With a multi-queue capacity scheduler, these values do not show 'cluster wide' information. We need to change these to target the 'root' queue specifically:

fields=metrics/yarn/Queue/root/AllocatedContainers[1376513942,1376517542,15],metrics/yarn/Queue/root/ReservedContainers[1376513942,1376517542,15],metrics/yarn/Queue/root/PendingContainers[1376513942,1376517542,15]
{noformat}
{noformat}
fields=metrics/yarn/Queue/root/AvailableMB[1376513942,1376517542,15],metrics/yarn/Queue/root/PendingMB[1376513942,1376517542,15],metrics/yarn/Queue/root/AllocatedMB[1376513942,1376517542,15]
{noformat}

Also, we need to make sure that the units are in MB as opposed to KB.
