[VOTE] release rc3 as Solr 1.2
Sorry folks... one more time. This release candidate fixes SOLR-250
(scripts need to tell curl the content-type), as well as the minor
README typo.
Please vote to release the artifacts at
http://people.apache.org/~yonik/staging_area/solr/1.2rc3/
as Apache Solr 1.2

A quick test, including the scripts, works on RH Linux.

I thought maybe we were tickling some particulararly tricky bug by using
an anonymous impl of Comparator<List<Tok>> ... but even if we declare a
"real" class....
public static class TokComparator implements Comparator<List<Tok>> {
public int compare(List<Tok> toks, List<Tok> toks1) {
return toks.get(0).pos - toks1.get(0).pos;
}
}
...Jetty freaks out that "compare(Ljava/lang/Object;Ljava/lang/Object;)"
is an abstract method.

-1 to release... sorry guys.
I get an exception if I type in more than one word on the analysis page.
Haven't looked into it yet, but perhaps it's jetty mis-compiling the JSP.

this is one of the reasons i asked doug to clarify his comments .. yes it
seems that we need 3 '+1' votes from PMC members, the PMC is listed here..
http://lucene.apache.org/who.html
...among Solr committers that's Doug, Otis, Erik, and Yonik (allthough
there are several PMC members who are not Solr committers who can of
course try out the release and vote.

According to recent comments by Doug on the lucene list, it seems
that we need 3 or more PMC votes to conduct a release. It isn't
clear to me how many active Solr committers are actually on the PMC,
besides Yonik. Is this a potential issue?
