[jira] Created: (DERBY-2069) derby.system.bootAll=true only boots databases in the top level of the system directory

derby.system.bootAll=true only boots databases in the top level of the system directory
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: DERBY-2069
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-2069
             Project: Derby
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 10.3.0.0
            Reporter: Daniel John Debrunner
            Priority: Minor

Databases lower down are not booted, such as

${derby.system.home}/singleUseDB/dbone

Will add a comment in store/BootAllTest that shows how to change the test to verify any fix.

[jira] Updated: (DERBY-2069) derby.system.bootAll=true only boots databases in the top level of the system directory

Knut Anders Hatlen updated DERBY-2069:
--------------------------------------

       Urgency: Normal
    Issue Type: Improvement (was: Bug)

Triaged for 10.5.2. It's not clear to me that this is a bug, since the documentation for derby.system.bootAll doesn't state explicitly that databases in subdirectories should be booted ("all databases in the directory specified by the derby.system.home property" is the wording - http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/dev/tuning/rtunproperbootall.html). Reclassifying to improvement.
