[jira] [Updated] (HIVE-12939) add timeout around prewarm and
waitTillReady in Tez session pool session start
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-12939?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Sergey Shelukhin updated HIVE-12939:
------------------------------------
Description: When one of the default queues is fully in use, or isn't sized correctly, the corresponding pool sessions may not be able to start in a timely manner (or at all), and HS2 startup would hang forever. Need to add a timeout around that (in Hive for now, since Tez does not have the APIs that we need).
