Why? Also what do you mean by "cactus". Do you mean the <cactus> Ant task?

ATM, the <cactus> task removes any existing deployment before executing the 
test. Also, it installs a container deployment in a specific temporary 
directory. The only exception being JBoss for which we also need to this (but 
not done for lack of time).
