Open Office Writer

Hello

I've been working on a document for about 3 weeks for work, till about 2 am this morning and when i opened it today, it said it locked in editing by an unknown user and the read-only and copy versions were blank. What do I do? I NEED to get my work back.

The file is locked because you possibly closed your computer down too quickly and there is a left-over lock file.  You need to enable viewing of hidden files and delete t hat lock file - possibly in the save directory, or in the OpenOffice user directory
