   Could you provide some references for this? Putting package metadata in `pyproject.toml` ([PEP 621](https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0621/)) is not intended to replace constraints, but `install_requires` in `setup.py` or `setup.cfg`. No mechanism exists at the current time to replace constraints file at the current time, to my knowledge.
