   I am running into exactly the same problem trying to a production db from 0.30.0 to 0.30.1 or any other higher version. The documentation suggests it should be as simple as 
   
   ```
   pip install apache-superset --upgrade
   superset db upgrade
   superset init
   ```
   but obviously that doesn't seem to work even for this minor version upgrade.
