tomcat 6.0.32 with myfaces 1.2.2

I have been using tomcat 6.0.18 with myfaces 1.2.2 and it works well. I 
now have to upgrade to tomcat 6.0.32 and the application fails to work.
The error is strange - there is no exception, no problem visible in 
logs, seems like the data from input fields is just not submitted. It is 
probably connected to the fact that the faces value is inside the field, 
as shown in attached screenshot.

I've searched the Internet for solutions, but I can't seem to find any. 
There are lots of libraries used, including myfaces, spring and 
hibernate. It's difficult to pinpoint which one is the source of the 
problem, though I suspect it's myfaces.

Any thoughts, ideas?
