Hi,
I am looking for uuencode java library. Does commons
codes include it?

I don't think so.
I have written such filters and made them available in a tiny library :
Jarmor (http://www.spaceroots.org/software/jarmor/index.html). The two
classes that may interest you are :
http://www.spaceroots.org/jarmor-doc/org/spaceroots/jarmor/UUEncoder.html
http://www.spaceroots.org/jarmor-doc/org/spaceroots/jarmor/UUDecoder.html
If someone find this useful, I can donate this to Apache the same way I
donated Mantissa some months ago.

Thanks for your information.
I try uuencode command under solaris, by default,
uuencode use it's own way to encode/decode.
If I use -m uuencode could use base64.
But I want to find a java library, which support
uuencode as same as uuencode command under solaris.
Do you know any library of uuencode?
My testing under solaris:

$ cat test.txt
<a>AAAaaa111</a>
$ uuencode -m test.txt test.out
begin-base64 644 test.out
PGE+QUFBYWFhMTExPC9hPgo=
====
$ uuencode test.txt test.out
begin 644 test.out
