I've tried.

My theory is that somebody who got infected by Mydoom has the
subscription address of the user@ant list and the support address of
boutell in his address book.

virus -> support --bouncing because of virus --> user-subscribe@ant
--sending back confirmation mail--> support --autoresponder-->
user-subscribe@ant

and support has been subscribed to the list. There is nothing much we
could do about this - except for kicking all mail server
administrators that allow their systems to send bounce messages to the
forged senders of virus mails.
