PatternParser's FinalizeConverter NEEDED to be virtual

Hello,

 

It's not possible in the Log4NET 1.2.0-beta8 to create your own
derivation of PatternParser, as FinalizeConverter is not marked Virtual.


 

SO, sadly, I marked it virtual in my implementation (unless I'm
COMPLETELY missing something) and I wanted to let someone know.  

 

Any thoughts on when the next log4net will be out and include this
oversight?
