[jira] Created: (AMQ-3069) Allow the org.apache.activemq.store.journal.JournalPersistenceAdapter.checkpointInterval to be configurable

Allow the org.apache.activemq.store.journal.JournalPersistenceAdapter.checkpointInterval to be configurable
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: AMQ-3069
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-3069
             Project: ActiveMQ
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Message Store
    Affects Versions: 5.3.2
            Reporter: Timothy Myer
            Priority: Minor

Please allow the org.apache.activemq.store.journal.JournalPersistenceAdapter checkpointInterval to be configurable. Per a prior ticket (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-318), this property was exposed, but in AMQ 5.3.2 and 5.4.1, this property is no longer configurable. If I could have re-opened that ticket, I would have, so it currently remains closed.

Interesting that you would close the ticket and mark it as incomplete without communicating your need for a license grant and without giving me the opportunity to provide that license grant or to ammend the patch. If you could point me to a link describing how I might do that, it would be much appreciated.

Timothy Bish commented on AMQ-3069:
-----------------------------------

All you need to do is ensure the attached patch still applies cleanly, then upload it again and ensure that you tick the grant license to apache option. Once that's done simply reopen the issue and someone will be happy to look into it.
