differences between 2.0.x and 2.1.x ?

Hello everyone,
sorry if it's a FAQ: if so, I'd greatly appreciate a pointer to a web page.

I'm wondering which are the main differences among the 2 versions currently
available, and if there's a end-of-life date foreseen for the 2.0.x version.
Is the 2.1.x series backward compatible with 2.0.x ?

Thanks alot,
Valerio

The main difference is that 2.1.x is based on the JAX-WS 2.1 spec and
2.0.x is based on the 2.0 spec.

There are other differences as well. 2.1 supports the javascript
clients. 2.1 has an updated policy engine (although not much takes
advantage of that yet). The Aegis databinding is more configurable in
2.1. 2.1 has an xmlbeans databinding. 2.1 has support for CORBA,
etc....

Hasn't been discussed yet, so no. We continue to merge fixes for
bugs onto the 2.0.x fixes branch.

For the most part, yes. We do have a migration guide that addresses
some of the issues:
