[jira] [Commented] (KARAF-1301) Cellar ignores features sync flag

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KARAF-1301?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13267517#comment-13267517 ]

Jean-Baptiste Onofré commented on KARAF-1301:
---------------------------------------------

sync attribute is just to know if the synchronizer should be started or not. The synchronizer is responsible of sync the local feature and distributed feature at Cellar bootstrap time.

For the "runtime", we should use blacklist/whitelist/producer.

> Cellar is installed on two nodes and we have two groups:
> - groupA with nodeA and nodeB
> - groupB with nodeB
> If we do:
> cluster:features-install groupB feature
> even with sync=false for groupB, the feature appears like installed on nodeA.
