My eclipse workbench installation does not allow for remote updates, due to a number of dependency issues.
I'm trying to add DS to it, to avoid having a whole second copy of eclipse only to use the studio.
I'm using it to manage an OpenDS server btw.

As a workaround, I think that you can install the standalone studio, and then copy all the features and plugins (org.apache.directory) to your eclipse directory, it should work.

cd to studio folder
> zip -r ds.zip features/org.apache.directory.studio.* plugins/org.apache.directory.studio.*
cd to my eclipse folder

Zip file is as nightly-build available @
http://vm094.oxylos.org/mirror-maven2/org/apache/directory/studio/nightly-plugin/
If needed this can be build from the as release tagged version by using the CI profile and then be copied also to the download site.
