Parquet Sync on Wednesday 9am PST?

Hi All,

I'd like to propose to have the next regular, bi-weekly Parquet sync on
Wednesday, Nov 22nd, at 9am PST.

There has been some discussion around how to implement support for
new-style statistics (min_value / max_value) in parquet-mr and I think it
would be great to talk about this in person. Additionally, I'd like to talk
about how we can add support for these new statistics fields in writers
that only write v1 of the format, in particular parquet-mr v1.

Please let me know if the time does not work for anyone and you would like
me to re-schedule. The meeting will be at
