Kai Sasaki created HADOOP-13506:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Redundant groupid warning in child projects
                 Key: HADOOP-13506
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-13506
             Project: Hadoop Common
          Issue Type: Improvement
    Affects Versions: 3.0.0-alpha2
            Reporter: Kai Sasaki
            Assignee: Kai Sasaki
            Priority: Trivial

Some child projects defines groupId (org.apache.hadoop) redundantly which is already defined in parent project. In addition, IDEs are throwing warning message like
