[jira] [Commented] (UIMA-4365) JD should shut itself down instead of being killed -9 by agent

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-4365?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14514488#comment-14514488 ]

Lou DeGenaro commented on UIMA-4365:
------------------------------------

JD should be shut down in the same manner as JPs, friendly first (signal 15) then not so friendly (signal 9 after 1 minute).

At end-of-job JD should also record processing statistics, such as:

27 Apr 2015 13:15:53,774 INFO JobDriverHelper - T[23] summarize memory [MB] total=11.81 free=2.94 max=100.00
27 Apr 2015 13:15:53,774 INFO JobDriverHelper - T[23] summarize workitem statistics [sec] avg=37.40 min=13.51 max=60.06 stddev=12.87
27 Apr 2015 13:15:53,774 INFO JobDriverHelper - T[23] summarize workitem count done=25 error=0 retry=0 preempt=0

> It would wait until all JPs were gone, and have time to generate a summary of work & time spent etc.
