[jira] Created: (BEEHIVE-390) Struts-merge wipes out the tag
Struts-merge wipes out the <controller> tag
-------------------------------------------
Key: BEEHIVE-390
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEEHIVE-390
Project: Beehive
Type: Bug
Components: NetUI
Versions: V1Alpha, V1Beta
Reporter: Rich Feit
Assigned to: Rich Feit
Fix For: V1Beta
Repro:
- Create a fragment Struts config file ("my-merge.xml") that specifies only the 'processorClass' attribute on the <controller> tag:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE struts-config PUBLIC "-//Apache Software Foundation//DTD Struts Configuration 1.1//EN" "http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/dtds/struts-config_1_1.dtd">
<struts-config>
<form-beans/>
<global-exceptions/>
<action-mappings>
</action-mappings>
<controller processorClass="foo"/>
</struts-config>
- Refer to this file in a page flow:
@Jpf.Controller(strutsMerge="my-merge.xml")
- Build the page flow.
- Examine the <controller> tag in the generated Struts config file for the page flow.
Expected:
<controller processorClass="foo" inputForward="true" className="org.apache.beehive.netui.pageflow.config.PageFlowControllerConfig">
<set-property property="isReturnToPageDisabled" value="true"/>
<set-property property="isReturnToActionDisabled" value="true"/>
<set-property property="sharedFlows" value=""/>
<set-property property="controllerClass" value="mike.Controller"/>
<set-property property="isMissingDefaultMessages" value="true"/>
</controller>
Actual:
<controller processorClass="foo"/>
Basically, specifying a single override value wiped out the rest of the <controller> tag that we generate.
