[jira] [Created] (INFRA-10909) Request for a filtered SVN repository dump of Lucene/Solr

Dawid Weiss created INFRA-10909:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Request for a filtered SVN repository dump of Lucene/Solr
                 Key: INFRA-10909
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-10909
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Subversion
            Reporter: Dawid Weiss
            Priority: Minor

In the light of INFRA-10828 (svn-git mirroring issues), would it be possible to create a (filtered by path) SVN repo dump of Lucene/Solr, containing all of its history?

https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/lucene/

It'd be used for experiments and diagnostics, trying to pinpoint the source of the problem.

It seems to be very crude to do it remotely (since svnrdump always tries to fetch all of the repository's history) and SVN dumps at svn-dump.apache.org are incomplete (INFRA-10508).

A pipe of svndump passwd to svndumpfilter with a restriction to inlcude just {{lucene/}} should do the job.
