[jira] [Commented] (PDFBOX-3138) PDTextField doesn't accept any Hebrew characters as new value

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-3138?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15936650#comment-15936650 ]

Roland Polzer commented on PDFBOX-3138:
---------------------------------------

I have the same problem. Any news on this issue? How can I change the font embedding settings in Acrobat? I can specify a font for each field and have tried all kind of fonts. Tried non-ansi placeholders - did not help. I also tried calling setDefaultValue() instead of field.setValue() which works but the default value is not displayed (only in the properties). I desperately need a workaround.
