[jira] [Created] (SPARK-55491) Consider the support of deleteRange in TimestampAsPrefixKeyStateEncoder

Jungtaek Lim created SPARK-55491:
------------------------------------

Summary: Consider the support of deleteRange in TimestampAsPrefixKeyStateEncoder
                 Key: SPARK-55491
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-55491
             Project: Spark
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Structured Streaming
    Affects Versions: 4.2.0
            Reporter: Jungtaek Lim

The initial version of TimestampAsPrefixKeyStateEncoder doesn't support deleteRange, but since the timestamp is the prefix and it's sorted, it may make sense to support deleteRange.
