[jira] [Comment Edited] (PDFBOX-2325) Failure to render OpenType (TrueType)

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-2325?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14123736#comment-14123736 ]

John Hewson edited comment on PDFBOX-2325 at 9/5/14 11:03 PM:
--------------------------------------------------------------

That's the first PDF I've seen which uses an OpenType font, interesting to see that it's from a test suite. I wonder if there are any "real" files out there. The OpenType spec is remarkably complex.

I'll add support for the subset of OpenType which is equivalent to TrueType and add some warnings if other OTF features are used.
