[jira] Commented: (MYFACES-1414) Invalid resource link on Getting Started page

Jeff Bischoff commented on MYFACES-1414:
----------------------------------------

The language on this website page is still confusing new users into erroneously downloading the old MyFaces examples from 1.1.1. Once the next Tomahawk is released, and official examples are on the download page, we should update this getting started page to reference the correct file names, i.e. tomahawk-examples, not myfaces-examples.

The current language is misleading:

"MyFaces examples. Latest milestone webapp archive (myfaces-X.X.X-examples.zip or myfaces-X.X.X-examples.tgz) is here."

We should update the language to be less confusing, something like:

"MyFaces examples. Latest milestone webapp archive (tomahawk-examples-X.X.X-bin.zip or tomahawk-examples-X.X.X-bin.tar.gz ) is here."

> On the Getting started page (http://myfaces.apache.org/gettingstarted.html), the URL referred to by "here" does not have the MyFaces examples webapp archive. It is nowhere to be found!
> MyFaces examples. Latest milestone webapp archive (myfaces-X.X.X-examples.zip or myfaces-X.X.X-examples.tgz) is here
> The here link points to the download page -> http://myfaces.apache.org/download.html
> This needs to be fixed ASAP. It is a big problem for newbies!
