How can i delete a kafka topic?

hi. I have been using kafka from 6 month ago. we have so many topic
created. 

so I want to manage that  topic delete function 

 

How can i delete a kafka topic?

 

I delete a topic in kafka log directory. After then kafa server have error
msg "File not found Exception"

what is wrong , it is possible that kaffa topic remove ?

I have one more question. is this concern with zookeeper ?
