new user - help
Hello,
I am trying to wrap my head around Java, XML and SOAP all at once
so please forgive me if I'm asking rather mundane questions.
Environment specifics: Jakarta-Tomcat 3.2.1, JDK 1.3, xerces ??, SOAP 2.1.
I am trying to do the simple Hello World examples located at:
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/ws-peer2/index.html?dwzone=webservices
on Windows NT with no luck.
I've gotten the Webserver up an running fine, but the soap service doesn't show up
like the pretty pictures in the tutorial. I think the article was written just after the
Apache foundation took over IBM's implementation but, I know I am missing something.
All I got in the download of SOAP 2.1 was the SOAP jar, where do I find
some documentation on how to set up the service with the Jakarta-Tomcat server?
